Training:

The goal of our karate classes is to present to potential long-term students the basics of traditional Shotokan karate, including its techniques, the attitude and characteristics of this style, and the protocol and etiquette inherent to it.

We strive to provide an understanding of the tradition and the benefits that are derived from its practice. We realize that martial arts are not for everyone, or that Shotokan is not the style that every student wants to follow. We offer individuals the opportunity to discover for themselves if they want to pursue training in Shotokan, and an excellent avenue for those who do.

The Bend Karate Club is part of large national and international organizations that are recognized throughout the region and country. This not only gives us access to world-class teachers and instruction, but also insures purity and consistency of the traditional style here in Bend.
